This course covers contemporary issues within the criminal process such as homicide investigation, the threat of global organised crime, fraud investigation and research methodology. The course equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this competitive field. During the course, you will study topics such as organised crime, the complex relationship between policing and public perception, key issues in criminal justice policy and the administration of justice. You will also gain an insight into the investigation of homicide in the UK and internationally and gain an insight into the techniques used in investigating fraud and money laundering.
