Finance and Risk Management

The programme aims to improve the skills of practising professionals so that they are able to play a senior role in the areas of financial and risk management within organisations.

Entry requirements

A minimum of a 2.2 Honours degree (or equivalent) in any discipline; quantitative skills proficiency at least up to A-level mathematics (or equivalent); relevant work experience is also considered; applicants whose 1st language is not English require either IELTS 6.5 or above including a minimum 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components, TOEFL internet-based test 90 or above, Pearson PTE Academic 58 or above, or an equivalent secure English language test.

Course modules

Modules include: corporate financial management; capital markets and decisions under risk; corporate responsibility; financial risk management; managing credit risk; global financial crises; research methods; research dissertation.
