Architecture (Professional Practice, RIBA part 3)
This 3rd and final adjunct of architectural education, which has been revised and expanded, is designed to take place during the 2nd period of mandatory practical training after the completion of the part II. The content of the course and each module reflects the professional experience and knowledge that students gain over this period.
Applicants must have obtained RIBA Parts I and II from a recognised school of architecture or have successfully passed the ARB assessment for RIBA Parts I and II; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5.
Core modules: English law; regulations, contracts and procurement; architectural practice management; professional case study; professional development and experience.
A diverse range of assessment criteria is employed and course-specific assessment policies have been designed within the framework and general assessment regulations of the university to which awards are subject.
