Facilities and Property Management
This course is aimed at graduates who aspire to professional and/or senior positions in the field of facilities and property management. The course is related directly to the management of real estate. Students develop the skills and ability to appraise options and independently evaluate alternative courses of action.
A good Honours degree (2.2 or above) in a subject area such as construction, surveying, architecture or civil engineering, relevant employment in a professional or managerial capacity in a construction-related post. However, applicants from all backgrounds and level of experience are encouraged to apply. Alternatively, applicants may hold membership of a recognised construction-related professional body achieved through examinations and/or professional interview, together with experience in a professional or managerial capacity in a construction-related post. Applications are welcomed from mature applicants without formal qualifications but with significant professional or managerial experience in a construction-related post. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS score of at least 6.5.
