Public Health Nutrition
This course explores the role that nutrition plays within the UK�s national health system. As part of this course students receive training in statistics, epidemiology, research methods, nutritional assessment, and health promotion.
A good Honours degree from a UK university, or equivalent from a non-UK university, in a science or social science subject. Applications from candidates with relevant work experience are welcomed. Candidates whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of at least 6.5, with the written component at a minimum of 6.5 (or equivalent).
Concepts and principles of nutrition; food and nutrition in public health and policy; food security; nutrition assessment; international nutrition programme planning; research methods; research project in public health.
