Sport and Exercise Nutrition
This course covers the key principles of sports nutrition and exercise physiology, including the latest research findings, as well as offering practical experience of the practicalities of working with all kinds of athletes. There is a wide degree of flexibility in choice of research project - personal interest can really be reflected in this. Students can study via full- or part-time mode, which can offer a great chance for gaining professional development credits.
Applicants should have a good Honours degree from a UK university (or equivalent from a non-UK university) in human sciences with a strong component of nutrition and/or physiology; some relevant experience as participant/coach in sports performance is an added advantage; applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS score of at least 6.5, with 6.0 in each element.
