Students on this course develop a strategic perspective and broaden their existing understanding of marketing and its integration into an overall corporate strategy and structure. As part of this course students hone their capacity for analysing complex marketing and business situations and reaching decisions on appropriate courses of action.
A good Honours degree (minimum 2.2 or above), or international equivalent. Applications from candidates with relevant experience of marketing and/or marketing communications are welcomed. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS score of 6.5, with a minimum score of 6 in each element.
Core modules: buyer behaviour; marketing communications; marketing dissertation project; marketing research; product, brand and pricing management; routes to market; strategic marketing; the effective marketing manager (ma only); option modules (msc only): data management; financial analysis for managers; leading the knowledge-based organisation; managing the digital enterprise.
