International Business

This course explores themes of the international business environment to develop managers capable of responding positively to global challenges in the 21st century.

Entry requirements

Normally a 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree (or international equivalent). If English is not the 1st language: an IELTS score of 6.5 (including 6.0 in academic writing) or equivalent.

Course modules

Indicative modules: principles of responsible management; academic development and research; managing in a global environment; strategic management; intercultural business communication; leadership in organisations. Plus one option from a number of modules including: Business consulting; principles of operational excellence; market-led organisational change.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods include essays; reports; presentation; conference papers; case study analysis and research-based projects.
