Delivery of Primary Health Care

This course is designed for qualified doctors who have trained for general practice, providing a progression route to enable students who have completed the Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) Delivery of Primary Health Care to exit with a Master's qualification.

Entry requirements

Qualified GP on the General Medical Council list, having successfully undertaken the Postgraduate Certificate delivery of primary health care at the University of Winchester. Qualified GP's with relevant experience and qualifications would be considered via recognition of prior learning.

Course modules

Indicative modules: quantitative methods in social research; qualitative methods in social research; independent study.

Assessment methods

Assessment takes the form of essay and report writing, leading small groups and presentations.
