Health and Social Care
This course provides students with a Master's level education in the concepts, theories and academic skills of relevance to their work arena or chosen career path. The course caters for both students who are currently working in Health and Social Care and for students who are not currently working in these fields but hope to develop the skills and knowledge to take up such employment. As such, the course offers a flexible approach to the subjects studied and the mode of study (both taught and work based modules can be chosen). It provides students with a multidisciplinary and interprofessional platform to inspire and enable them to understand social experiences of health and care, approaches to care across the sector, critically examine the complex and diverse nature of various concepts, assess and understand policy issues, and evaluate evidence and understand what works.
