Specialist Community Nursing (District Nursing)
The aim of this course is to develop skills as a specialist practitioner who can combine theory and practice to improve and develop knowledge and skills in district nursing, or general practice nursing. Students gain the necessary intellectual insight needed to evaluate the economic, social and political influences that affect all aspects of healthcare.
Postgraduate Diploma - PgDip: In order to access the course applicants must be registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register. Students must have a 1st degree in nursing/health related subject and have access to a practice placement within your chosen area.
There are core modules that are shared by all students and specialist modules for either the district nursing, or general practice nursing pathway.
