Students undertake a range of taught modules and independent study which focus on students developing an in-depth understanding of the symbiotic relationship between science and art within dance.
A good Honours degree (2.2 or above) in a dance related subject or relevant subject area and/or 5 years professional experience. Applicants from overseas should also have a good standard of written and spoken English (normally IELTS 6.5 or equivalent).
Modules include: dance physiology, psychology and biomechanics and research methods before undertaking independent research in the form of professional practice (dance science support) and dissertations.
