Strategic Information Technology Management
The overarching aim of this course is to enable students to work strategically in IT management. To achieve this, the course will give students the ability to apply strategic management practices and methodologies to a variety of situations. Students develop strategic thinking of both short and long term goals for an organisation and be able to develop IT strategies to support their achievement; students will be able to identify and improve upon existing business processes to bring about IT enabled organisational change; students will be able to understand the strategic issues relating to data management and governance, working at both a strategic and practical level.
