Teaching in Professional Practice (level 7)

This course aims to develop the knowledge and skills of the registrant wishing to facilitate learning in practice through the supervision and assessment of students who are undertaking NMC approved specialist community public health nursing programmes. The module is suitable for a range of professionals including: health visitors, district nurses, school nurses, community based and hospital nurses.

Entry requirements

All applicants will be in employment and funded by their sponsoring NHS trusts and must have access to a SCPHN student and be supervised by a sign off practice teacher. An undergraduate degree is required to access this module at postgraduate level.

Modules include: SLAiP mentorship; teaching in professional practice.
