Nutritional Therapy

The course has been developed in response to the growing demand for high quality theoretical and practical skills provision in nutritional therapy; the course enables practitioners to provide nutritional advice through the use of food as a therapeutic tool, along with nutraceutical prescription and lifestyle advice.

Entry requirements

The entry requirements are: a 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant discipline. This should include knowledge of fundamental human anatomy, physiology and biochemistry; an access module is available for those with a higher education qualification that does not meet the entry requirements. The IELTS score for international applicants is 7. Other English language qualifications will be considered.

Course modules

Modules include: studying nutrition at postgraduate level; nutritional assessment; nutritional improvement; integrated approached to nutritional therapy; nutrition through the lifespan; nutritional therapy clinical practice; research approaches and methods; dissertation.
