Diet, Nutrition and Health

This flexible taught programme will develop knowledge and skills in evidence based nutrition which can be applied to many areas of employment. Current research, provides strong evidence that good nutrition is fundamental to health.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree in a relevant discipline. This should include knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. The IELTS score for international applicants is 7. Other English language qualifications will be considered. All applications will be considered on their merit.

Course modules

Modules include: studying nutrition at a postgraduate level; nutritional assessment; nutritional improvement; nutrition and long term health conditions; nutrition through the lifespan; research approaches and methods; negotiated study in diet, nutrition and health; dissertation.
