Marketing

This course combines marketing theory with critical and analytical approaches to management, allowing students to develop innovative value-adding marketing solutions. The course is a specialist degree designed for established marketing graduates and practitioners who are seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in preparation for progression into more senior management roles. The course is practically aligned to enhance students' work experience and employability and an optional 6 month internship built into the programme to allow for students to gain important experience whilst at the same time contextualising their study.

Entry requirements

Either a 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent plus at least 25 per cent of level 6 study of marketing. The IELTS score for international applicants is 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).

Course modules

Modules include: business investigation and discovery; contemporary issues in consumer behaviour; corporate intelligence; managing corporate reputation; services marketing; strategic marketing in the digital economy; strategy, sustainability and the global economy. Project alternatives: management project (based upon 'client' brief); or dissertation.
