Stained Glass Conservation and Heritage Management
The programme is designed for college graduates with a undergraduate degree in related fields such as architectural stained glass, conservation, other areas of art history, architecture, archaeology; those without a college degree but with exceptional experience or demonstrable skills may also be admitted subject to entrance test; previous experience in glass conservation is desirable. If you are a non-native English speaking applicant you must provide evidence of your English language ability. You need to show enough fluency in all aspects of English (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to the required level of the course you are applying to.
Module includes: basic and advanced techniques of glass conservation; ethics and philosophy of conservation; history of conservation; art and architectural history; archaeology; building engineering; conservation and the impact of climate change; heritage and business administration.
