The Geology of Yorkshire and Northern England

The programme will introduce the key tenets and sub-disciplines of geology, focusing on the geological evolution of northern England and its global significance in the development of Earth sciences. Students will gain an holistic understanding of the geological origins and history the region and develop the skills and techniques necessary for effective field and laboratory geological analysis. A constructive workshop atmosphere is delivered wholly online in a fully-supported learning environment.
