University of York
Corporate Social Responsibility with Environmental Management
The context of the programme is international, reflecting the increasing trend towards the globalisation of business organisation and the transnational nature of environmental problems faced by the corporate sector and regulators and policy-makers. You will be introduced to the major challenges faced by decision makers when implementing corporate social responsibility policies in the real world and you will examine the consultancies helping organisations achieve their corporate social responsibility objectives. By the end of the course you will have developed the essential skills associated with business and financial management and managing sustainable organisations. The programme is suitable for those aiming for careers in management both in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. The programme incorporates a range of modules in business and environmental management, which are taught between October and May.
A range of scholarships and studentships are available at postgraduate level. Some scholarships are funded by the University (such as the York Master's Opportunity Scholarship) and some are funded by Research Councils, alumni, businesses and charities.
